Roger Bauckham - Church Secretary: Roger has been worshipping at Yardley Wood with his family for nearly 20 years, he lives in Shirley and runs his own computer services business based in Coleshill. Roger is married to Sue and has 2 children, Olivia, 19 and John, 14.
Stephen Briggs - Treasurer: Stephen’s day job is a maths teacher and database programmer at the Sixth Form College, Solihull. Originally from Derbyshire he came to university in Birmingham and has been hooked ever since, apart from a three year stretch in France. He is married to Wilma, with three children, Stephanie, Nicholas and Anthony.
Heather Tandy Heather Tandy has been a church member at YWBC along with her husband Dave for the past 19 years. Their children have been brought up in the church. Heather is a member of the worship group and is involved in leading a ministry to the elderly in local care homes.
Maija Watton Grew up in Finland, married to Alan with two grown up children and one granddaughter. Recently retired from 25 years of nursing. Likes people and has a passion for reaching out to those who do not yet know Jesus. Is committed to working in the church and taking the Good News out to the community. Hobbies include travel, running activities for Finns in the Midlands, knitting and sewing and learning to be a good grandparent.
Phil Jackman Phil Jackman has been a member of the church since 1985. Phil has worked for Agape since 1977, initially helping university students understand and apply the message of Jesus, more recently offering spiritual coaching and mentoring to business students and professionals. Phil helps with worship, teaching and discipleship within the church.
Paul Scott
Paul has been a member since his teens, and helps lead a young people's
group at the church. He is married with two children
Graham Toomer
Carsten Ghedia Carsten grew up in Birmingham and first started coming to YWBC as a young teenager. He spent four years away at university studying Materials Science and now works in Aston as a Project Engineer. Carsten got married at YWBC in autumn 2010 and now lives with his wife Emily in Shirley.
