The Lighthouse Group

Yardley Wood Baptist Church is delighted to announce its decision to sign a partnership agreement with The Lighthouse Group, a Christian charity that works with young people who have been excluded from school, are at risk of exclusion or are at crisis point in their education. YWBC will be working with TLG to set up an education centre, which will seek to support schools and young people in our neighbourhood.

Trevor Neill, minister of Yardley Wood Baptist Church, commented: ‘There is a strong desire at YWBC to demonstrate God’s love and the values of his kingdom to the people of Yardley Wood. We explored several possible initiatives in recent months, from which TLG stood out. We recognise there’s lots of hard work ahead of us, but we’re so excited about a project which we feel will provide a powerful expression of the gospel to our neighbourhood.’
